My favorite pandemic discovery was browsing the archives of the geneological socieity Paras, Nuevo Leon, my dad’s tiny home town. Everyone there is related and every picture seemed to lead to another story. I think about those images and those people all the time.
I’ve been playing with doing quick and dirty restorations of these images with Picture Studio (https://picture.studio). We still have a long way to go before these are perfect, but these restorations help me look through time and imagine what it must have felt like to take those images and stand in those places.
