Rineke Dijkstra is photographer whose work always makes me stop in my tracks. I was reminded to look up her work from this post on MAO. Her portraits of bullfighters who have just left the ring are new to me. I don't think this show ever made it to New York.

And to the best of my knowledge.. Here big current show up in Europe is not coming to NYC.
I've only seen her bullfighters when they have come up for auction.
her work just came to my attention at a show here in lisbon (bullfighters). waiting to get my hands on a book.
