Melba Arellano

I have a soft spot for road trip photography that traces an emotional, historical, or personal journey. Melba Arellano's Carretera National project tracing the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo highway feels as if it was made just for me.

This is a terrific set, thanks for pointing it out.

I saw a fascinating discussion about Mexico the other night on 'Charlie Rose'; two New Yorker magazine authors ( one who lives in Mexico, one not, and then a British writer who argued that the Mexican state is under siege ( war ) by drug cartels.
Let me know what you think if you saw it or can find it...

Quite bleek summaries overall...
