This makes me smile. The colors are beautiful, but what elevates the image is that the women seem very much at ease with you and your camera. Well done.

Very interesting capture. The image makes me wonder about a few things. Why are they sitting down if it was raining. If it wasn't raining, then why are they dressed so warm?
One thing that stands out to me is the 4th person, hidden behind her umbrella, which "coincidentally" matches the other clothes of the women. Did anybody else notice the little girl that is snuggling with her mother?
Great shot, lots of "stories" behind it!

The umbrellas are for the sun which is harsh at these altitudes.
And the warm clothes... well it's Tibet. Hot in the sun, freezing when a cloud comes by.

Wow...
this scene reminds me of Fars Province in Iran where the women from the Quashqai nomadic tribe are adorned in vibrant clothing similar to these ladies.

don't undersell fashion. everybody likes to see and be seen.
thanks for all these. I don't usually follow this far-but neither do the artists.

a simply wonderful environmental portrait; you certainly do seem to have a wonderful way with the people you meet of putting them at ease!
