ha, that's great. it's amazing how this close portrait, like the one of the guys outside of the university, evokes a similar 'curious of foreigner' response from me when looking at it.
in response to tin, i don't think it was necessary to include that much of the wall, but i think it adds to the picture. if it was a group of adults, i don't think it would, but with children it gives the viewer an idea of how raul might have actually experienced the little ones around him.
Great colours! I'm wondering what film was this shot on? Your shots aall have this very consistent color-look to them that I don't see anywhere else.

This (and most of the shots on the site) was shot on plain old drugstore Kodacolor 100 Gold. I've always found it gives nice rich reds and greens and good skin tones...
