I'm wondering about the curious configuration in front of the shop areas. A long and narrow concrete culvert to handle the water flow, a board to navigate across, but the "sidewalk" area seems to be total rubble and very difficult to walk upon.
This is where the past and the future clash together like two ships.

I wonder if the dogs end as food, they can be threating if not controled. I would want to be carrying a weapon, not necessarily for defense against human mauraders.
