People really are too fickle with their comments...
I've really enjoyed the past shots from Amdo. This series really puts the viewer not only in another place but entirely in what appears to be a different time.
If you ever find yourself in Minneapolis, I would love to take you out for a beer and hear some of your stories. I am sure they are many.
I'll toss you a mail if I'm ever in Brooklyn Heights!
Great presentation tonight. Your photos have a luminosity and a depth of character I have never seen before... I will definitely keep on looking. Thank you again.
The Amdo photos are my favorites. They depict a place to which I would love to transport myself. such colorful clothing in an environment that seems devoid of color. And how curious that the coats are wrapped around the body, and the sleeves hang empty at the sides. The boys expression looks troubled or pained. As always, wonderful.
