What a timeless picture. Really unique. If the motorcycle wasn't there could be centuries ago...If the monks where not there, I agree with Jordan, seems the Far West. Great!
A real old west feel to this photograph, but with that "other culture" twist. As a student of cultural anthropology I always enjoy your look into other cultures.....and envy your exotic travels.

it really doesn't take much to get there... a trip here is probably cheaper than say, a trip to disneyworld or vegas. Once you've covered the plane fare it's just a couple of dollars a day... and many many bus trips.

At first I thought, "wow, interesting Gaucho," and then I saw the monks and the project name.
The "one-horse" feeling of this town really lends to a sort of "old west" feeling in this shot. I think it's very interesting.
