I just found this photoblog tonight, and... w o w. You have one hell of an eye. I look at photography for a living and if you are not a pro, you should be.
Images that stand out for me: Mi Luz, Headmaster, Peach Festival, Bubbles, Balthazar, and virtually the entire Vietnam, Xinjiang, and Zanskar sets.
You have a new fan. I'll be back whenever my rss lights up.
a shot that perhaps doesn't show off your great photographic talent but more your eye for what you have found interesting or striking in your travels, which you then share with the viewer like me. thanks, this is cool.
the man with the hat is Saint Francis of Assisi (San Francisco de Asis). Did you go through San Luis Potosi (SLP)? According to my mom, I was conceived in part thanks to a miracle by Saint Francis of Assisi, so when I was old enough she took me on a trip to a church in Real de Catorce, SLP, of which he is patron saint to pray and give thanks to him. I've now been there a few times, and let me tell you it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to... I would recommend you visit Real de Catorce if you ever get a chance.
