Raul, what kind of stuff do they do at summer camp? Is it mainly for social gatherings or do they serve an agrarian purpose as well?

The nomads in this area set up a camp up on the plateau and stay there all summer. They have herds of yaks that eat the grass all summer long. In the winter they caravan to warmer lower altitudes or, sometimes, to sod or stone houses.
i love the feelings your images conjure up. im so used to seeing the same ilk of images on photo blogs that coming across your stuff is unexpected, suprising and really appreciated. you are truly an amazing photographer.
