Firstly, congrats on being the editor's pick on photoblogs.org a few weeks back. I really enjoy your site. Mostly for the fact that I can't travel and take pictures all the time, so I'm living vicariously through your shots. Are these polaroids a new theme for the site, or just an intermission from what you typically post?
And who ever said polaroids suck? :)
Those washed out colors look great. The second one really catches that feeling of being alone on the road.

pramesh: The polaroids are one of my many ongoing photo projects. I also have travel projects, a Brooklyn project, a cross country USA project, a holga project, family project etc... I define a project as an obsession that I keep revisiting year after year. My hope is that the site never settles into one theme or style. How boring would that be?

You gotta love Polaroids! .....And long, lonely drives. Actually a whole-lot-of-nothing is one of my favorite things.
